Taking flexibility literally

Lonc Living Products FlipDish is different things to different people. It s a feast for the eyes for lovers of fine design. It s a serving dish for dinner or a party. And it s reversible, so the outside is the inside, depending on how you fold what starts out as a thin flat sandwich of aluminium around a polypropane core. That material is uniquely flexible, so you can fold it and unfold it (and store it flat so it doesn t take up any space) over and over again. Lonc has come up with a wide range of colourful designs: butterflies and goldfish, Dutch canal houses and Persian mosaics, Swiss cheese and Hollywood Movie Stars, outer space and abstract forms, just to mention a few of the patterns that are applied using a sublimation printing process that is baked to a hard and virtually scratch-proof finish. The flip side of the FlipDish is burnished aluminium that almost glows with a warm lustre.

You can design your own pattern if you wish – a corporate logo, for example – just another level of flexibility offered by Lonc.
